In Pt. I, we covered the main aspects of what Staghorn does, but we didn’t talk about some of our other cool services that might be just what you need:
Outdoor Potted Displays
A couple of pots outside, overflowing with whatever the season has to offer, can transform your outdoor space, be it your front door, restaurant patio, or storefront -
Bulbs and branches in the early Spring bring the first hints of color to the outdoors after a long winter, blooming annuals and trailing plants burst with life with the heat of Summer, Fall brings ornamental cabbage and gourds, and Winter is welcomed with lush evergreen branches and berries.
Edible herb bowls are an interesting option if you have a restaurant or want something functional in your outdoor pots. We can also arrange artificial plant displays, if that’s your style or you don’t have the light to support live plants outside.
Like our indoor plant options, outdoor pots can be added to your package as install-only or install and maintenance. If you choose outdoor pots with maintenance, we visit 1-2x per week to water, fertilize, trim as necessary, and replace plants that aren’t thriving.
Holiday Displays
We offer indoor or outdoor* holiday displays for the month of December that are taken down at the start of January. Depending on your interests, this may include poinsettias, indoor or outdoor garland, Christmas tree decorating (real or artificial), winter porch pots, and other seasonal bling.
Every holiday display is different, so there are a lot more variables when it comes to pricing. In most cases, the client buys the decorations and pays a fee for install and teardown. If artificial holiday displays are done consecutive years, the client would only pay for setup and teardown once the decorations are purchased. Let us know what you have in mind!
*While we don’t currently offer extensive outdoor holiday lighting, we are happy to take on projects with a small amount of outdoor holiday lighting.
Vacation Maintenance
Maybe you travel south for the winter, maybe you’re backpacking through Europe, maybe you’re attending a destination wedding - Whatever the reason you’re leaving town, we don’t all trust our neighbors and friends in keeping our plant babies alive while we’re gone, so leave it to the trained professionals! We offer vacation plant care at a once a week or twice a week rate with a flat fee per visit that depends on how many plants and the level of maintenance.
Successful Plant-Parent Coaching
Some of us are the D.I.Y. type, and that’s okay! Whether you are getting plants installed by us and want some advice in taking care of them yourself or you have your own plants and feel like things could be going better, we can help. If you have a question, ask away (free of charge*)!
*Except for during installations, we don’t typically do site visits for plant questions. If we mutually decide it is necessary and we have the availability, it is charged hourly.
